Car Stereo Cd Changers, Speakers And Amplifiers

by Menachem Green

The sound systems fitted in automobiles can be described by the term of car-audio. Little difference there is in the stock car audio system which refers to one that was specified by the manufacturer when the car is built. On the other side custom car audio installations can involve everything from the upgrade of the radio to a full customization of a car based around its audio equipments like car stereos and CD changers.

Most widely used audio equipments are the radio/tape/CD/DVD Player which usually described as a Head unit. Recent developments in head units technology are the addition of CD players with WMA, MP3, AAC, USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support integrated.

Most modern cars include at least a CD player/ CD recorder, and some have the option for car stereo CD changers, which hold multiple disks either in the head unit itself or in a separate unit usually located in a trunk or console. The main types of CD changers are External Cartridge, Internal Cartridge and Carousel CD changers.

Stereophonic sound, commonly called stereo, is the reproduction of sound using two or more independent audio channels in way to create a natural impression of sound heard from various directions, similar to that in natural hearing. In popular usage, car audio stereos usually mean 2-channel sound recording and sound reproduction using data for more than one speaker simultaneously.

During the mono radio era, the speaker was usually located in the middle of the dashboard. But with the arrival of the new technology in sound system that is the car audio speakers, they are now put in doors and rear parcel shelves in modern cars. Another kind of this stereo system is the stereo CD changers which is good for large drivers.

Amplifiers are there to provide the power for the speakers, and they are rated in watts of power that they provide. Any good system of good car audio speakers requires high-quality amplifiers, and also needs speakers able to handle all of the power that the amplifiers are putting out, or else the amplifiers are largely being wasted.

The audio system in a car can be either term or stock. A term system would be one installed after purchase. Car audio stereos can now play a wide variety of formats, including MP3 and WMA. Audio systems may also include a car stereo cd changers to hold multiple cds. These changers may be an external cartridge, internal cartridge, or a carousel cd changer. Stereo, which is short for stereophonic sound, uses more than one audio channel to reproduce sound. The car audio speakers will be able to produce a stereo sound.
